Secure venue + date.

Launch wedding website & registry; reserve hotel room block.

8–6 Months
Say “yes” to the dress and place the order.
Choose bridesmaid styles/colors; order attire.
Hair & makeup trials; lock stylists.
Design invitations; plan transportation.
5–4 Months
Choose accessories: veil, topper/bolero/jacket (seasonal), jewelry, shoes.
Finalize menu and rentals.
Schedule alterations (first fitting typically 6–8 weeks out).
3 Months
Mail invitations (8–10 weeks out; 12+ for destination).
