Our recent styled shoot at The Grande Victorian in Monroe, NC was one of those days, thanks to the vision and artistry of Charlotte wedding photographer Robert Burns II. With a real life couple, Abhilasha and Prasann, traveling in from Raleigh, Robert orchestrated a session that felt both editorial and effortlessly intimate, exactly the balance we love to see when showcasing modern bridal style.

For Abhilasha, we styled a slinky, off the shoulder Jenny Yoo gown with a refined leg slit, modern glamour with timeless bridal lines. We finished the look with chic accessories from our boutique, keeping the palette clean so the silhouette and fabric could take center stage. The result: an editorial feel that still reads "bridal."
Paired with Prasann’s classic black suit, the fashion story found that sweet spot between sleek and romantic, a perfect canvas for Robert’s light-forward, detail-rich approach.

Florals by The Blossom Shop brought a fresh pop, sunny yellow blooms mixed with white florals that played beautifully against the venue’s classic lines. Hair and makeup by Kath Makeup Artistry leaned editorial: sculpted eyes, polished skin, and a finish that photographed flawlessly from every angle.
